Context

Google ran a curated speaker series at their London headquarters, inviting voices from across technology, media, and culture to present on topics at the intersection of tech and everyday life. 2018 was a significant year for Google's consumer hardware push - the Google Home ecosystem was expanding rapidly, and the company was actively investing in conversations around how technology shapes home and family life.

What I Did

Hosted a panel of prominent family social media voices on how technology is reshaping the home environment, weaving together perspectives from digital marketing, content creation, entrepreneurship, and parenthood. The talk explored the evolving role of connected devices, digital habits, and the creator economy's influence on how families interact with technology - grounded in first-hand experience both as a marketing entrepreneur and as someone navigating tech-at-home as a parent.

This direct invitation from Google to speak was a huge honour; I love to see the human and family application of technology, and being able to do this on such a prestigious stage was a huge honour.
